Ivo Cruz Sheet Music
Manuel Ivo Cruz (Corumbá, May 19, 1901 — Lisbon, September 8, 1985) was a composer, musician and music teacher who distinguished himself as founder of the Lisbon Philharmonic Orchestra (1937) and rector of the Lisbon National Conservatory ( 1938-1971), succeeding in this position to Vianna da Motta. He was also the father of conductor Manuel Ivo Cruz, son (Lisbon, 18 May 1935 - Porto, 25 December 2010), conductor-director at the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos.
